Educational Resources

The Teaching Guide to Regret to Inform is an on-line interdisciplinary teaching tool that encourages students to think critically about the long-lasting effects of war. Written by Bill Bigelow of Rethinking Schools, the guide contains several lessons designed to help teachers use Regret to Inform effectively in the classroom. Additional resources for teachers, background information on Vietnam and a feedback section are also featured on the site.

A limited number of printed versions of the guide are available for teachers at no charge. Please contact us directly for more information.

Other literary and audio-visual works dealing with themes addressed in Regret to Inform are available. Regret to Inform's partners POV--the acclaimed non-fiction film series on PBS-- and TRI (Television Race Initiative) have developed resource guides for you to use.

Download Delve Deeper, a resource guide compiled by Booklist, the journal of the American Library Association for POV.

Download the POV/Television Race Initiative's Facilitator's Guide.

Many other resources that deal specifically with Asian American issues can be found at NAATA, the National Asian American Telecommunications Association.
